Got a video with 14k views! This win was before I started CUT30, but still feels relevant to share as it might help someone else in here, especially designers/creatives. For this video, I designed a running shoe concept for Zach Pogrob. I love Zach, and I love Saucony, so when I saw a post of Zach running in them, I got the idea of doing a concept collaboration between the two. This is me using the idea of permissionless work, creating something of value for someone else without asking for anything back. The video gave Zach the opportunity to post to his story with the text 'I'm ready whenever you are Saucony.' So the post had the potential to actually land him a collab. I basically gave him a lay-up. The video currently has 14k views, which is my most by far. I've also seen this work for other creators. Kweinbydesign got 7.1 million views on a video doing a concept for The North Face. I think she even landed a job there. She has been absolutely smashing it. So if done correctly, doing permissionless work and sharing it can do wonders.
nathaniellie2001@nathaniellie_3.5kfollowersCut30 is easily best in class. You guys really over-delivered. And you know, I hate most things, and I loved this :) (well, most things are hype-y or disappointing and this was neither). I also particularly respond well to being told what to do. "Can follow directions well," my report card would say. Cuz for me, too much navel-gazing about 'authenticity' is a recipe for inaction, as far as I'm concerned. In the last month, I posted 27 reels, have one with 126K views (and still growing daily), gained 1110 net followers on IG, and ~900 on TT. People come into the bakery saying they've seen me online. I go out to eat and people recognize me. It's the largest change imaginable in 30 days. Onwards ... (and merci).
Shelley MacDonald@bellevillevt49.6kfollowers nowCut30 is the truth. The coaches are actual practitioners sharing what's working right now, and the daily feedback gives you a clear picture of exactly where you need to improve. It's a 30 day content gauntlet that helped me simplify, stop overthinking, and see the ideas that were right in front of me that I was missing. My favorite part, the slack community makes it feel like a team sport. I recommend this program for friends who are posting their first video and others who have been making content for a decade (and when they act like they know it all I remind them that Steph still has a shooting coach!). This should be an annual refresh for anyone who nerds out about content.
Tom Boyd@bonusfootage40.8kfollowersMy first 1M-view video of 2026 is a brand partnership, a huge leap for me, considering all of my previous branded content struggled to cross 10k views. Two major factors unlocked this growth: We aligned the narrative with the final week of the BNP Paribas tennis tournament, riding the wave of existing search and social momentum. I actually took a week-long vacation right before this. Stepping away from the daily pressure to produce content allowed me to return with the clarity needed to execute.
Max@maxxrosenblum59.5kfollowersThought this one was going to be a fail because I made a few mistakes with the editing and timing, but it's actually doing ok! Very slow growth to start but I'm seeing lots of progress. All this to say, this program is amazing and I've been learning a lot from you guys, so thank you! I found a niche that I wasn't planning on even posting about. I wanted to focus on my concept designs, but honestly this has been a really cool learning process.
Aash Patel70.3kfollowersAfter doing Cut30 and posting content back in March, I was able to get a new job as a strategist at an agency and also got my first brand deal with COMPLEX, making some greenscreen videos. I still only have 400 followers, but to anyone in here grinding, it really puts into perspective you never know who's watching! It was complete silence, then it felt like everything happened at once. Thank you Cut30.
Mani886followersCut30 breaks down the formats that work on social, which makes the entire creation process from ideation to publishing much more approachable. Even though I didn't publish regularly throughout the 4 weeks, the calls, classes, and feedback helped me clarify some things I had knocking around in my head for a long time creatively. Which made it well worth the investment!
Samantha Shankman@samtravels59.5kfollowers nowWe just had our first customer sign up who said she heard about us from Instagram! We've only been getting a few hundred views on our videos there, so I can't wait to see what happens when we really get our content working. We have a premium-priced product too, so I'm really surprised that we didn't even have to nurture them in our email list for a while.
Niels Hoven@nielshoven7.9kfollowersAfter 30 days of daily posting to a pre-defined niche (fashion industry), I passed 500 followers on IG starting from zero, had one video hit 50k views on IG and two others hit 20k views on TikTok. About 50% of my videos on IG are hitting at least 1.5-2k views, and I feel like I have a better handle on how to write an effective script.
Alex Greifeld@dtcfashiondecoded23.9kfollowers now2 recent wins for me: I ran a tag sale the other day, so I poked fun at it and made a video, 24K views and counting in just 16 hours. (It also performed well in trial reels, reaching almost 10K views.) Video #2 was a travel video in NYC about a pub. It hit 40K views on trial reels but didn't do anything crazy on my main feed.
Caitlyn Grad@caitlyngradmarketing18.7kfollowers nowCut 30 got me lit, I started my page 2 months before and was going on long rants letting OpusClip chop it up and posts. That got me less than 200 followers in 6 weeks. During cut 30 I was able to get over 1000 and they gave me insight on how to take them off the platform to build my business
Ali5.1kfollowers nowBack-to-back wins both crossing 100k views! Leaning into intellectual content is a big win for me, I find educational content performs consistently well, but these outperformed my usual videos. Definitely knew these topics would incite a debate which helps!
sravanti1502.2kfollowersI officially hit 50K across IG and TT and just want to say THANK YOU so much for putting together Cut30! It gave me exactly what I needed to get going and this community has been a great on-going resource for inspiration and support.
Catherine SullivanFinally got around to doing a ratings one and was able to put up a 10k view. Felt not normal to say opinionated things and sprinkle in some spice, but hey, that's what the ratings are for.
Mitchell Wilson@tarebulkfoods11kfollowersMy first big win: a 'Hostage CRO' Reel that's about to hit 100k views. Since posting it I've gained 1,500 followers and have had 4 people inquire about consulting work!
Ian Barnard@mixesintheattic5.7kfollowers nowThese guys have figured out the exact playbook for short-form video. Have been blown away by the rapid growth after following the Cut30 roadmap.
Hans Lorei@hansloreidesign832kfollowers nowGot this idea after watching a video from Ashwinn and his sun powder company. It's outperforming! I'm going to keep trying this format.
Delaney Smith@minnemals21.2kfollowersTook advantage of a one shot with a nice view and a trendy voice over to get my first 1M views on Instagram. A nice milestone to reach!
KerrieI hadn't posted on my personal IG since 2020 right around my bankruptcy. My first post back was about bankruptcy.
Kristoffer Quiaoit4.5kfollowersRandom throwaway post using a trending format in my niche, took 3 min to make → 35K impressions on 8k followers.
Tommy Clark@tclarkmedia15.9kfollowers nowFirst video to surpass 400k! Crazy how a video has this amount of engagement on TikTok and 200 views on IG lmao.
Moooxy304followersThe founder of Beams reposted my video and was in my comments. Pretty surreal (video was about him lol).
David Kyle Choe@davidkylechoe57.9kfollowers nowI posted this over the weekend and it's at 927k views. Posted a few more and they flopped 🤷♀️
samiaqader@bigpictureclub31.6kfollowersThough my recent video did not do well on IG, it's performing well on FB (4.6k).
